Discussing why she had she set her sights on Cambridge, she said: “I knew it would be a place that would attract loads of intelligent and passionate people, and I want to work and learn in that kind of environment.”
Emma joined UTC in Year 10 after previously being home schooled. Initially she studied the Health Sciences and Social Care specialism alongside her GCSEs, before concentrating solely on her A Levels in Years 12 and 13.
Commenting on why she decided to join UTC, she said: “I like that it’s a small school, so you get to know the teachers better and that the classes are small. It was also nice not to have the youngest years, it made the school more peaceful.”
