UTC Sheffield City Centre campus is located close to main transport links; it is a few hundred yards away from the main railway station and the main bus station.

The entrance is on the corner of Matilda and Shoreham Street and the building is prominently visible next door to BBC Radio Sheffield on Shoreham Street. Please note, our building is fully compliant for disabled access.

There is no car park at the UTC but there is on-street parking all around and you can see nearest car parks here:

Students and staff may wish to benefit from the CycleBoost scheme.

Staff who would normally use a car to get to work might be eligible to benefit from the Busboost scheme, or might like to check the South Yorkshire Car Share scheme.

Zero Fare Travel Cards

A Zero Fare Pass will be provided for eligible children of compulsory school age who live within the city boundary and meet one or more of the statutory criteria outlined below:

  • Children aged 14 to 16 years attending a Sheffield-based University Technical College (UTC) and qualify on the grounds of low income, if the UTC is more than two miles from their permanent home address.

Low income = Where children are entitled to free school meals or their parents receive their maximum level of Working Tax Credit.
